Present your background, experience and motivation in a short answer that leaves room for follow-up questions.

Choose relevant information

Start with experience or training relevant to the role rather than your entire life story. Prepare points instead of a rigid script so you can adapt to the question. Your name and country alone do not describe your contribution.

Jeg har jobbet på lager i to år.

I have worked in a warehouse for two years.

Describe one responsibility

Choose a specific responsibility and explain how you handled it. For a follow-up example, describe the situation, your action and the result you can confirm. Clear practical detail is more useful than unnecessarily complex language.

Jeg hadde ansvar for å kontrollere leveransene.

I was responsible for checking deliveries.

Ask for clarification when needed

Asking for clarification is better than guessing. Use a short request and answer once you understand. Describe your language abilities honestly, such as handling customers or reading instructions, rather than claiming fluency you do not have.

Kan du si litt mer om hva du mener?

Could you explain a little more what you mean?

Try it yourself

Prepare four sentences: experience, responsibility, an example and motivation. Read aloud, then express the same ideas without looking at the page.
