Omar noticed his friend often cancelled plans and seemed quiet. He wanted to help but did not know what to say. One day he invited his friend for a quiet walk. Along the way he asked how things were going and listened without offering quick solutions. His friend said he had a lot on his mind. Omar asked what kind of support he wanted and offered to meet again. He realised it was not always necessary to have an answer. Sometimes the most important thing was showing he had time to listen and stay in touch.
