Rania signed up for an adult swimming course. She had never learned to swim and was afraid of deep water. In the first lesson the group practised in a shallow pool. The instructor showed them how to breathe calmly and float. Rania needed several attempts, but did not give up. After a few weeks she could swim a short distance. She was proud of herself.
