English translation

Many people want to live more sustainably, but knowing which choices matter most can be difficult. A family decided to examine their own habits. They recorded how often they used the car, how much food they threw away and which goods they bought. The result surprised them: small shopping trips led to unnecessary driving and many impulse purchases. By planning the week's meals, they reduced both food waste and expenses. They also began cycling short distances. Nevertheless, they discovered that individual choices have limits. When public transport is poor, leaving the car at home is not always possible. The family therefore believes that personal measures must be combined with better public solutions. Sustainability thus involves both everyday habits and political priorities.
